Part of the intrigue that people have about skiing down the ski slopes is the danger involved. Most people feel that they know how to ski, or well enough to feel that they will not get injured by running into a tree or another skier. There are other things to worry about when skiing and the extreme sports enthusiasts are probably at the top of the list or directly under the imminent threat of an avalanche.
What extreme skiing represents is perfectly fine, but people on the slopes have a tendency to get distracted by the amazing tricks that people do with amazing machines that include skis but also use items that they have around the home. The slopes are filled with various sized skis and various sized people, so one other varied sized object should not matter to people who love skiing most of all.
Some parents wonder why their children ask for money to buy converter kits. They listen to a brief explanation and after hearing that it will make a cool skiing accessory for an upcoming vacation the parents determine that they do not need to listen anymore and hand over the amount that is requested.
There are amazing machines that are still able to ski down the slopes at amazing speeds. Parents learn this fact when the converter kits arrive at the house. Although the box is rather heavy, the hip ski dude explains to his parents that he will only need a few hours to make the ski machine dream of a lifetime come true.
Their child might go a bit further and promise that the converted ski machine is certain to be ready for the slopes on the next weekend. Parents know their children and realize that they are independent people with a desire for the abnormal and unusual when it comes to the skiing down the slopes. All sorts of images might come to mind as they wait patiently to see the finished product, and they are hoping it is by the deadline of the winter vacation.
The parents are pleasantly surprised when their son emerges from the garage with the object of his skiing obsession with other things in tow. In front of the parents is the bicycle that they paid good money for just last spring and if memory serves them correctly, they know that it looks quite a bit different than the last time they saw it. The wheels on the bike had been removed and in their place were two solid looking skis that they purchased for their son recently.
The parents were in awe that their child could build such an object. Of course, they worried if it would work because they had not had the chance yet to see what happened when and if it ever went down the slopes. On the next weekend, the whole family gathered at a ramp on a course and low and behold they saw their son riding a bike down the slope and doing a flip in the air. Yes, it is possible to be creative and daring but taking skiing to this extreme might be considered by some to be flat dangerous.
